Django + React
stack on Digital Ocean
The challenge
An international academic conference needed one site for programme information, participant registration, paper submission and payments, delivered before the call for papers opened.
What I built
A Django back end with a React front end deployed on Digital Ocean. Registration, abstract submission, payment and live-stream pages share one admin area for the organisers.
The outcome
The site served as the single hub for the conference, from registration to the live stream during the event.
